I happened to be married to a pretty cool guy named Tim DeBoom. I met him on an airplane when I was 23 years old – it was the luckiest seat assignment I’ve ever had. I’ll never forget calling him from a pay phone when I surprised him in Tucson during the winter of 1995. He met me outside and asked me to marry him. We’ve been together ever since. Tim since won the Hawaii Ironman (twice) and has been doing all sorts of cool things along the way.
People ask me all the time what my stud husband is up to and I get sick of answering so I invited him to share little tidbits of his life for 10 minutes at a time. So welcome to 10 with Tim (on Tuesdays)!
Today we talk about life after pro racing – how Tim stays fit while including other important things in his life (like a 4 year old daughter!).
Please comment here or on Facebook with anything you want to hear from Tim. Thanks for listening!
